The Horrors- Vent
Myspace
Genre: "Scuzz" Blues/Garage Rock
Favorite Track: Shake Your Shit and Hope's Blues
I found this album on accident during freshman year, and I simply cannot get enough. It's an old favorite of mine, and probably always will be. Give it a chance.

Black Moon- Enta Da Stage
The best I could come up with is their Last.FM page:
Last FM
Genre: Alternative Hip Hop
Favorite Track: Slave (But all of them are amazing)
This album, fucking blew my mind when it comes to hip hop. Holy shit, every single one of these tracks are perfection. The beats are mellow and well done, the MC's voice (Buckshot Shorty) is mellow, raspy, and full of energy all at the same time. I absolutely love this album.

Dangers- Messy, Isn't It?
Myspace-Well its not their myspace but close enough
Genre: ....hardcore/punk(not hardcore punk, more like a meshing of the two seperate genres.)
Favorite track: I haven't even gone through the entire album yet but so far if you like one, you'll like them all
I just found this band literally like 15-20 minutes ago. It is so intense and passionate. I don't really know how to describe the music. It's like one of the best blends of passionate hardcore and punk I've ever heard. The guitars are heavy and catchy, featuring some of the coolest, original breakdowns I've heard in awhile. The drummer is really fucking good, but you kind of have to be to play hardcore/punk. The vocalist just screams at the top of his lungs about such topics as his mother's suicide and how everyone in the world is more fucked than jesus carrying a cross through a desert. Really, check this band out. It's beautiful, catchy hardcore/punk that is pretty underground. The best kind of punk.

Benea Reach
Myspace
Genre: Melodic Mathcore
Favorite track: Right now....Sentiment
This album has been on repeat on my ipod for awhile. Apart from sigur ros and elliott smith this is the only other band I've been listening to almost exclusively. There are just a lot of breakdowns with some really melodic parts thrown in, plus the singer has one of the best scream ranges, if not the best, that I've heard in quite a while. Listen, you may be disappointed but I don't give a shit, cause I love the album, but you may like it, and its always worth a listen to find new music you might enjoy.
