Souls Of Mischief- '93 Till Infinity

Genre: Alternative Hip Hop
Favorite Track: Every single damn one.
Okay, I cannot stress enough how much this album means to me. I discovered this album about two years ago and it is literally my favorite hip hop album of all time. Out of any genre this album is at least in the top three. That's how much this album has influenced me and shit.
I know, I know, saying your favorite track is all of the tracks on one album is kind of lame, but in this case it's true. However, My two personal favorites are '93 Till Infinity (title track) and Tell Me Who Profits. This group is from Oakland, California and they are part of Hieroglyphics along with Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Pep Love, and Casual. This album is just pure perfection.

Kowloon Walled City- Gambling On The Richter Scale

Genre: Sludge/Metal
Favorite Track: Gambling On The Richter Scale, Diabetic Feet
This band is awesome. Kind of reminds me of a heavier Unsane. This stuff is what bands should be sounding like. Heavy and sludgy. All the guitar is so chunky and awesome. It makes me go "Oh me, oh my."

Teen Cthulhu- Ride The Blade

last fm
Genre: Metal/Black Metal
Favorite Track: I'm Going To Fucking Kill Myself
This is what real fucking heavy metal is. FAST, HEAVY AND FUCKING BRUTAL!

Paul Baribeau- S/T

Genre: Folk/Indie
Favorite Track: Brown Brown Brown
I've been lazy about posting things lately so here I come getting back into the swing of things with some Paul Baribeau. He is sloppy and sings with his heart and soul. It is just one man and his guitar, but there is no need for anyone else. Someone showed me this a little while ago and I just cannot stop listening to his songs. They are short and out of control, playing by no rules, but his own.

Tragedy- Vengeance

Genre: Power Violence/Hardcore/Punk
Favorite Track: Conflicting Ideas
This this is aggression. It is fast, heavy and every member of this band fucks shit up like it's nobody's business. Former members of His Hero Is Gone.

Genre: Indie/Folk
Favorite Track: Dead Man
"Dead man, dead man, don't cry
Dead man, dead man, don't cry
Don't cry
When you die it ain't the end

Artifacts- Between A Rock And A Hard Place

Genre: Hip Hop
Favorite Track: Flexi With Da Tech(nique)
Artifacts is an amazing hip hop group from New Jersey. It consists of Tame One (of Leak Bros and The Weathermen) and El Da Sensei. I keep meaning to post something other than hip hop, but this album blew me away the first time I listened to it.
